Business owners will dedicate their lives towards the creation and growth of their business, but rarely consider how to responsibly leave it in the hands of others.   

While a sale is possible, usually a business owner will leave their business only upon their retirement, disability, or death.  It is essential to make sure that your business can continue without you and that your lack of involvement is gradual, rather than abrupt.  Put a plan in place.  Make sure your key employees don’t leave, that the next generation is trained for the challenges ahead, that the business continues to thrive upon your retirement or disability, and that the right people inherit your business after your death.
